๐ŸŒฑ

What your child practices

Recognizing numerals, matching quantities on a die, and practicing number order.

๐Ÿงบ

What you need

The number board, the cut-out color counters, scissors, and one six-sided die.

๐Ÿ‘

Get ready

Print the number board and counters as separate sheets. Cut out the red and yellow counters. Each player chooses a color.

How to play

  1. 1Choose a way to play: cover numbers in any order, or go in order from 1 to 6.
  2. 2Take turns rolling the die. Put one of your color counters on the matching number.
  3. 3In any-order play, a number already covered does not count again. In order-play, only cover the next number you need; if you roll a different number, wait for your next turn.
  4. 4The first player to cover all six numbers wins.
Make it easier or trickier: For a cooperative game, work together to cover both number tracks. For a gentler start, play with numbers 1 to 3.
